Easy Slider
In the Easy Slider episode of Sliders, the show's writers have fun cribbing from
Easy Rider and George Romero's Knightriders with an hour combining outlaws,
motorcyles and jousts. It's passable enough stuff, with Robert Floyd giving another engaging
performance as Mallory and Lisa Akey making a valuble guest-star contribution as a biker lady
Mallory romances. Sci-Fi Channel just announced that Sliders won't be back for a sixth
season. Too bad, because there's definitely life left in the series.
