Some have expressed a desire for a Sliders soundtrack rather than a full Cleavant Derricks CD. This would offer the theme songs for each season, as well as some other songs from the series. However, I feel, as well as others, that Cleavant Derricks made up the bulk of the Sliders music, and his music would attract a wider range of listeners than a Sliders soundtrack. Sliders fans would appreciate a soundtrack, but a Cleavant Derricks CD is something that would appeal to the general market, and perhaps earn a Grammy nomination. Plus, I'm more interested in Cleavant Derricks' singing than any other Sliders related music, and believe that it is more likely that such an album would be successful as well as entertaining.
