Most of us here would like nothing more than to actually meet some of the stars and producers of Sliders. Even if we just stared at them and asked mindlessly stupid questions, it would still be a blast. Who would you like to have dinner with? Here's my Top 10 list:1. John Rhys-Davies. He's one of my all-time favorite actors, has a rapier wit, and would likely be a lively conversationalist. Heck, I could just sit there and listen to him speak. What a voice!
2. Cleavant Derricks. Everyone who's meet or worked with him say he's one of the greatest guys you could ever meet.
3. Tracy Tormé. I've had the pleasure of attending a chat with him, but an up close and personal meeting would be stellar. I'd like to get him drinking and get his real opinion of my fourth pick...
4. David Peckinpah. I mean, how surreal would this be? Peck's viewpoint is rarely seen even though he's not only an exec producer, but a writer of quite a few eps too. "So Peck, what sold you on the breeder camp angle?"
5. Jerry O'Connell. Sure I've made fun of him, but I still love this guy. I'd probably just hammer him with "My Secret Identity" questions. After that, he'd be more than willing to talk Quinn.
6. Kari Wuhrer. Why the hell not? Every man likes to be seen with a hot woman. And you'd better believe I'd hit on her.
7. Steve Brown. Writer of "As Time Goes By", "In Dino Veritas" and co-writer of "Obsession." Love this guy's work.
8. Jacob Epstein. "So, ran out of ideas after 9 episodes?"
9. Mark Mothersbaugh. Sure, we'd probably talk Devo more than Season 1 musical scores, but....
10. Keith Damron. We'd do lunch!
'What?' you're saying. 'Where's Sabrina?' Frankly, I wouldn't have much to say to her, and the stuff I'd want to know would understandably be too personal. But if she's ever in the neighborhood and wants to drop by for a pizza or something, I sure as hell won't refuse. :)
