California's Vasquez Rocks have been a staple of science-fiction filming for decades... perhaps best-remembered as the setting of Star Trek's "Arena." More recently, one of the region's distinctive crags was Photoshopped into an alien world for "Slidecage."Want proof?
The upshot? The Slidecage really was in California...
