-The following morning at Globe-EX Law Firm, Milo is sitting with Laura and Joe in his office, "So you basically are saying that you just appeared there, without realizing where you were?"

"To be exact, but it's kinda hard to explain how we got there"

"Not for me it isn't, those cronies over at the Bermuda Triangle drugged you up and tossed you in. I talked with my boss earlier today about a trial and it seems we've set a trial date for next week, but we don't know if we can get in now or a few months. Now comes the hard part though, are you both willing to go to the stand and testify that you both were affected by this facility"

"Well I know I can, but I really couldn't relate to Joe since I wasn't in there"

"If it means those walls will be torn down, lets go for it, bring on the lawyers"

"By the way Joe, your other friends, are they still inside?"

"Yeah, like a told Laura, they had stayed inside, since they were going to look into this guy who had a cell phone and one of my friends thought it was confusing for someone so poor to have one"

"I believe that was a CIA agent undercover. I heard about it, but didn't believe it until now. I always thought the CIA was lousy when it came to jobs like this"

"Don't be too hard on them, because I of coarse did for the CIA for a short time and thought they did a good job investigating things"

"My apoloigies. So I'll see you both tomorrow"

"We'll be waiting, see-ya Milo"

"By the way Joe, just wanted to thank you for coming through, I mean it's not everyday that people come forward and tell the truth about selfish politicians" The 2 exit the building and soon catch a taxi back to the hotel.

-Over at the Bermuda Triangle, Arturo and Quinn continue walking around after eating breakfast. The gang known as the Skulls reappear near the sliders, and get in Arturo's face, "Well that guy may have saved your life, but next time you won't be so lucky"

"After much thinking about it, here is my food card, take it, it's your to keep"

Arturo pulls it out of his pant's pocket and hands it to the man, "Thank you sir, and maybe I'll take your name off the kill list"

"Excuse me, I don't mean to butt in, but have you thought of leaving this place?"

"Yeah, millions of times and yet no escape"

"What if we said there was a way out, and we can help you"

"Whats in it for you?"

"Nothing, you escape, we remain here, thats it. Or we manage to get into the main building by the front door and this entire place can be torn down"

"I'll think about it, but firstly dude, theres no way you can get through to the main building, that force field thingy is in the way"

"Lets say my friend here can deactivate it, then would you agree?"

"Maybe. If that field comes down, you can go ahead of me"

"Fine, give us a few hours and then you can meet up with us, isnc there is in fact another way out, but not everyone will be able to leave"

"Deal, and if you don't show us a way out, your head will be placed on a platter for me"

That gang disappears, leaving the 2 sliders to remain where they were"

"Well professor, it's your show now"

"I just hope Joe got out in time. I'll do my best, but I may need distractions if I am to bring down the barrier"

"Don't worry professor, I think I can rustle up some help"

At the Concord Hotel, Joe and Laura sit around, waiting, "I'm hoping the others get released soon enough, since we slide out tomorrow and it could get nasty if they aren't with us"

"Joe, didn't you say that you came through the sewer?"

"Yeah, what about it?"

"If we could get back through the sewer and back into the Bermuda Triangle, we could find the others, escape again and take off"

"Lets do it then, lets go"

"But I kinda would feel bad about the court case involving the Bermuda Triangle and we wouldn't be around to see it"

"Well it could take months and I don't really want to miss the slide for some trial that shouldn't exist and a location that puts people in their supposed place"

The phone rings with Laura answering it and it's revealed as Milo on the other line, "You got to turn on the television, theres some new developments in our case"

Laura turns on the television set to see the news on, and the reporter is explaining of a recent attack by the poor people on the main building and the Mayor of Los Angeles has been taken hostage.

"So whats going on, how could the people get through to the main building? I thought a barrier was in place to keep them out"

"I guess not, someone with knowledge of disabling a system like that is quite prepared for a take over"

"Okay, have you found out about when the trial would start?"

"I can't say for sure. Now my boss states that it could be 6 weeks before it begins"

"So is there any way we could get in and find our friends?"

"Not at this point, we could be here for days at the most until the hostage taker makes their demands"

"Well we'll be waiting for you to call, talk to you soon, bye"

"I just wanted to apologize in case your friends are killed, because of the Bermuda Triangle, but for now, bye"

"I think now we should take action, before the entire area is surrounded"

"Fine Joe, lets go. I know I couldn't handle it if Quinn and Arturo were killed for no reason"

Laura shuts off the television set and joins Joe as he heads out the door adn the two head downstairs and gets a taxi to take off.

In the main building over at the Bermuda Triangle, Quinn, Arturo and the Skulls gang were standing around in an office, with the Mayor of Los Angeles.

"Now listen here, I may be taken hostage, but there is no way in hell that my people will let you and the rest of the rejects out into the public"

The Skulls leader heads to the mayor, putting a knife to his throat, but Arturo speaks to the mayor, "I think you better pay more attention to what the situation is your in. These people that you refer to as rejects can't survive like this the rest of their lives. The world is not perfect and if you refuse to let the poor or the sick into this world, you'll never have peace"

"Maybe not, but it's worked for quite a few years. And up until now, we were hoping things would never change between the poor and the wealthy, keeping them separated from each other so no one would be different"

One of the Skulls members arrives in the office, "Yo dude, the cops are waiting to talk to that mayor. Should we let them talk to each other?"

"Why not, lets get our demands stated and hope the cops realize that the mayor is more important than they think"

The leader forces the mayor out of the office and down the hall to a video phone, where the police chief is seen. Arturo and Quinn go along, hoping nothing goes wrong between the officer and their conversation.

"As leader to the Skulls, I claim that this building be destroyed and we all go free"

"Now listen up boy, out here, our country has improved better due to the Bermuda Triangles being around. We refuse to give in to terrorists and won't give in to your demands"

"Maybe the mayor's death will help you change your mind"

Arturo soon heads in front of the video phone, taking command of the conversation, "Now I know that this may not be my place here, but this world's society is so corrupt, the people who are sick, poor, or can't get a break are forced into this place with no chance of survival"

"Well we all can't be choosy as to how people live. If your rich, you belong out here, and if your a loser, why don't you just move in and make a life for yourself, knowing that is where you will live, always live and live until you die"

"Your making nonsense sir. What about all the children or elderly that can't make it in a poor society and need help. I mean look at the idea of these kids could grow up to be lawyers, doctors, or even a mayor of a city. Like I said, this country is corrupt, and unless you help in making changes, people will always be in here, considering the idea to kill people like you" The video phone soon goes silent as the officer ends the conversation.

Arturo looks to the mayor, "Unless they change their minds, you're not going anywhere. How about we find a good solid place to toss this scum into, maybe a freezer will change your mind"

The mayor looks at Arturo with an evil eye as the Skull's leader moves him to another location. Quinn gets near Arturo, "I'm surprised of you professor, you seem different when you're stuck in enclosed spaces"

"Its just not that, people in this society feel that if your poor, why bother giving opportunities to those who have a chance to make some good in society. All I can say is that unless we can get out of this place without being noticed, Joe and Laura won't join us and we may not regroup for the slide"

"Maybe we should just leave, let the Skulls duel it out with the with the politicians"

"And lets say we do, for all we know, we could take off, and we wouldn't have made an impact to this society, changing it for the better"

Joe and Laura get let out of a taxi away from the Bermuda Triangle location, and they head down a few back streets to get to the sewer drain that helped Joe escape the first time. Joe hands Laura an oxygen mask, telling her to put it on so she wouldn't pass out. They both put a mask on and get down into the sewer; Joe gets in the lead, with Laura walking behind him, "Is this a short trip, because I don't want this mask to run out of air and I die of a nasty stench"

"Don't worry Laura, it shouldn't be more than a couple of minutes until we get inside the compound"

The two make it to the same location in the Bermuda Triangle as Joe left and the two return to level ground, with Laura and Joe taking their masks off and wiping theirselves off after walking through cobwebs and dust falling on their clothes.

"Okay, I'm not sure where they are, but lets check out the place we stayed last night"

The two start walking and are soon stopped by a man with a gun, "Hold it man, we're just walking through" the man lowers his weapon, "I know you, your the one with our savior, Professor Arturo"

Laura and Joe look at each other with confusion and both speak at the same time, "Savior? How can that be?"

"Sorry, I guess you two didn't know. Arturo managed to break into the main building and we are now holding the Mayor of Los Angeles hostage, so we have an upper hand in hopes to get out of here"

"Well we're with Arturo, so take us to him"

"Sure, ladies go first" Laura smiles, and then gets in front of the two men, walking ahead to the main building she had once entered. Once they got near the building, the man opened a door for Laura and Joe to enter and they head up a few flights of stairs to come to the same level as Arturo, Quinn and the rest of the Skulls gang.

Laura, who is now relieved to see her friends head to Quinn and Arturo for a hug, "I'm so glad you're alive, I thought I lost you all when I had awoken in the subway station and didn't see you"

"I should apologize Ms. Cosgrove, my mistake. I'll have to explain on the next world of how we got separated"

By mid-afternoon, the sliders, along with the Skulls gang remain the building as Arturo takes on a conversation with the Chief Of Police, "Since you all brought this on yourself sir, I do believe we have the upper hand, since I know you people don't to lose your mayor"

"Mr. Arturo, as I had stated before, we can't do a thing about this, the President of the United States must agree to the terms-"

"Then by all means, get the president here, see what he has to say. I'm starting to wonder if the leader of this country even know what is going on"

"If thats the way, fine, but it may take a few days to get him here, since he is always busy"

"Well we'll be waiting. But I should say this, you have 24 hours, or the mayor is dead"

Arturo turns off the video phone screen and heads down the hall and enters an office where the other sliders are sitting around, "So what did they say professor?" Quinn asks as he stands up from the chair he was in, "Hard to say. I think I pushed them to the limit. The President of the USA is to be here tomorrow, or I told the chief the mayor would be dead"

"Professor, how could you say that, knowing that if the cops get in here, we may all die"

"Thats one possible outcome Ms. Cosgrove, but I think if we play our cards right, the U.S. will change for the better"

As a full moon shows over the city, the group inside the building remain, waiting for an outcome. Laura heads to Quinn who is located in the lobby of the building, she takes a seat, looking at him, "I'm thinking this was a bad idea. I'm shocked to see Arturo act this way, but what can we do?"

"Hey Laura, didn't you say you had met a lawyer?"

"Yeah, but what could he do to help?"

"Lets think about it, this country has a social barrier, with only letting people who are rich to remain in the public eye, but isn't whats happening a type of discrimination?"

"True, so if we could get him to work the case at another angle, things could work out, but we slide out later today, so we still could get a case started and then we slide out, knowing we made a difference. I think I'll call, mind if I ask you to come along?"

"Sure, I mean we're part of this aren't we?" The two stand up and head up a flight of stairs and to a corner of the building where the video phone was locate. Laura dials the number to Milo's home and Milo quickly answers it.

"It's Laura, I hope I didn't wake you"

"No, whats going on, where are you at? I've tried calling a few times at the hotel"

"I managed to get into the Bermuda Triangle, along with my friend Joe. I'm thinking if you could start this case in a new perspective, things could change. I was thinking about discrimination toward the poor and that the President could really think about things and possibly pass a law to get rid of these places"

"I'll try to get working on the case, and I'll make sure the trial occurs earlier than later and then we can send that bastard to hell"

"Thanks Milo, good to know your on our side, bye" Laura turns off the video phone, and she looks to Quinn, "Now we just wait until morning"

As the sliders, along with the gang prepare for a trade off, the mayor remains tied to a chair in one of the offices. Arturo returns to the video phone with President John Wright on the other line, "Mr. Arturo, after hearing much of what is going on, I agree with you to a point. I should apologize for the people in these facilities and I should apologize for my actions to let this happen"

"I can't understand that. You're supposed to be the leader of this country, and you let this happen. I guess some people don't care with their countries people, like you. I know if I was the leader of the U.S. I would never have let such a thing occur"

"Mr. Arturo, I came here to speak to you about what we should do, not an ethical debate on whether I'm nice or not"

"As for my terms go, every facility should be dismantled and everyone gets to live a normal life"

"I agree to that, but it's not like we can do it in one day; its going to take some time, but I promise you I won't see psat this situation, and I'll make sure no one ever has to live in any type of social facility as long as I'm in office"

"Sure, lets do that, and in 2 years, someone else comes into office and they bring these people back into this type of environment"

"Mr. Arturo, may we at least speak face to face, and make some kind of agreement"

"I'll have to think about it, I'll get back to you soon"

Both video screens go to black, as the president looks to the Chief of Police, "Kill the bastard when we plan to meet. I don't like doing this job than anyone else, but we can't go back to life as we did before"

"Yes sir, it'll be done immediately"

As Arturo joins the others down the hall in an office, he takes a seat by Joe, "Well hate to say it, but theres no way out. I just got off the phone with the president, he lied through his teeth. But I think it's about time we went to drastic measures. Mr. Mallory, what time do we depart?"

"2:30 p.m. about 5 hours away. Whats on your mind professor?"

"Mr. LaFountain, I suggest you ask our local gang for any supplies involving explosives, because we're planning to kill ourselves after we slide out and this building goes up. They'll think we died for a just cause, and like you said earlier Mr. Mallory, we can't change society, we can only try"

"Fine, I'll get to it, Quinn, want to join me?"

Joe and Quinn exit the room, leaving Arturo and Laura in the room staring at each other.

With time running out for the sliders to do anything, Arturo makes one last attempt to ask for someone to make a change in the way society was, yet no one responded. With 10 minutes until the slide, the sliders, along with the gang place detonation devices around the building, which Arturo plans to blow, and making people believe they died for a cause.

Arturo joins the Skulls gang by the entrance to the building, who still are holding the mayor hostage, "I want you all to know that we did our best, and I hope that this will make a new impact. If it doesn't, give them hell. Once this building goes up, your free to leave this place"

"You know that if anyone tries leaving the Bermuda Triangle, they'll be shot on sight"

"Possibly, or maybe people will see the light and realize no one should live in these type of living conditions"

Quinn soon joins Arturo, "We need to get going, its about time" Arturo nods to Quinn, and as he turns around to follow Quinn, he looks back at the people staring at him, "Good luck, and I hope we've done enough today to make sure no such facility will exist in the future"

The Skulls leader heads to Arturo, "Sorry man, about the food card. I can tell you that your the most bravest person I know and will probably ever know" Arturo pats the man on the shoulder and joins his fellow sliders on the top floor.

"How long until this places goes up Mr. Mallory?"

"45 seconds, giving us a 20 second head start"

"I hope this works, and I do hope that Milo takes down Dean Stockweld once and for all"

"I'm sure something will occur. Whether we made an impact or not, we at least tried. And who knows, maybe some day, ten years or so, these buildings will be gone from this world forever"

"Well maybe we'll return someday to see it" Joe opens the portal, with the sliders quickly entering. As the portal closes, several explosions occur, destroying the building and making a big hole in the wall, letting people see out into the world again.

The Skulls gang, along with the mayor head outside, to find police and the president outside near cars, looking at them. 10 men with rifles get in front of the gang, who try to pull their weapons, but they, along with the mayor are killed on the spot, all falling to the ground, dying from the bullet wounds in them.
