Episode 415: Back Step

As the episode begins, we see the sliders being chased in a prison van by the police for comitting murders, which their doubles did, and they are wearing orange prison uniforms. With Maggie's driving skills, Colin tells her that she should learn how to drive, then she yells out "So Colin, do you think you can do better than me? I'm doing the best I can here", but Quinn stopped him from answering and told them to stop fighting or Maggie could lose concentration of the steering wheel. Remmy was firing a gun at them, and just as they ran a yellow light, the police lost them. The sliders were relieved of this, but then the van began to break down on them, and smoke coming from the front of the car, and when Maggie found an alley, she turned in and stopped the van. The 4 got out and began to run, and they only had 5 minutes until the slide, so they headed near a public place, and wouldn't get spotted for awhile. With 30 seconds, they had no choice, but to jump off the pier and slide out, because the police officers were coming in from both sides, so they all jumped and slid out.

They then landed back in the war zone (from the season premiere) and Col. Lexington came and said "welcome back sliders". They followed him inside a tent, where he gave Quinn a package, and when he opened it, it was Rickman's original timer, and the colonel began to explain "Mr. Mallory, after we had gotten this, it somehow ran out of time, and my scientists were able to reverse it, and now the timer is able to be used now". With their surprise, Quinn knew he had a chance to slide home, but didn't want Wade to miss the slide. Kromagg troops began firing at the camp, and so the colonel and other officers, went out and started firing their weapons, while the sliders were hiding near rocks. In the kromagg prison down below, a commanding officer was greeted by the mysterious partner of Rickman's and he asked what he could do for the traveler, but with no reply, the partner gave him a pen like device, and a note. As he began to unravel the note, it read:

Commander Kronos: I have ordered this person to give you this device, it will lead you to the a location of where wade welles will be placed so no one can track her, and also to victory, I've found a weapon that will kill all of the human race.

But as the commander finished reading the note, the traveler opened a vortex and slid out and the commander contacted his advisors to hold off the attack, because they had work to do. Back at the base, everyone was relieved that the attack was over for now, including the sliders. Colin had asked Quinn if he had the coordinates to kromagg prime, and Quinn told him "I wish I had, so that we could find a weakness, and to find out why they want to rule every world". With 4 hours until the slide, they didn't have much to do, but wait, and in a tent, Remmy entered and telling Quinn, he was willing to go back inside the prison to find Wade if she was here, but Quinn told Remmy it would be suicide to go back in. The colonel entered the tent, and told Quinn that his friends and him should leave, because kromagg troops were coming back for another fight, but with time still at hand, no one could slide out.

Remmy told Quinn, that they could use Rickmans timer, and then come back here, but the colonel told him, there might not be a place to come back to, and Remmy told the colonel, they needed to find their friend, but the colonel didn't care. Maggie and Colin entered, with Rickmans timer, and Quinn told the others they were leaving, and using the other timer, and when Quinn took out Bennish's timer, Colin stopped him and said "what the hell are you doing, we can't destroy this, its my only way back to my world", but Quinn told him, they would get him home, and then Quinn tossed the timer on the ground, and took a gun, and destroyed the timer, with Colin very angry at him. Maggie opened the vortex (still the same color and form), Quinn took it, and he was last out, and told the colonel to win the war.

The vortex reopened this time in a park, but they soon realized it was a Dallas look-a-like town, and they saw President Kennedy riding past them in a car on the hill where they were, but Quinn then tried to run after the motorcade to stop the attack, the others grabbed him, and it was soon to late, kennedy was assassinated, and Colin took the timer, and it read 54 hours, and Maggie said "Another world with another president kennedy killed, on my world, he died in 1979", and the others just looked at her as the screen fades.
