[Cue "Masterpiece Theater" Music] Welcome to the BBoard Sliding Adventures Behind The Scenes Special, with your host, Nobuyuki. [Music fades as the lights turn on to reveal Nobuyuki sitting in an armchair surrounded by books in a study, wearing a smoking jacket and holding a pipe.] Hello, my dear friends and once again, welcome. I thought that since the fanfic "BBoard Sliding Adventures" has become rather popular, I should allow the audience in on some of the behind the scenes secrets and inside jokes that only I knew, until now. [Nobuyuki puts pipe to mouth and gives a slight blow. Bubbles float up into the air.] First off, that wonderous question, what possessed you to write such a thing? The answer, my dear friends, is simple. Because the idea came to me and I acted upon it. I'm actually rather surprised that this particular brand of fanfic hasn't been attempted more often! Why Hunter, S and TF? I don't know. They really just seemed to fit. Before I continue, a brief pause for a few announcements. As to the numerous questions I have received about whose doubles will be featured in future installments, I'm sorry I can't say. I do plan to have the series continue for some time, so many people will be able to see their doubles in action. If I never get around to visiting your double, I'm very sorry. To close out the program, I thought I'd share a bit of trivia: The scene in Chapter 5 in which TF smashes the door down to attack the guard was actually inspired by a very similar, far more violent scene in the animé television series "Berzerk", in which the main character uses a sword the length of a car to break through the door. Similarly, Queen Slider_Sarah's laugh and personality were inspired by Nagah The White Serpent from "The Slayers" animé, a stunningly beautiful woman with a stunningly strange personality. I have to say though, that Slider_Sarah's choice of wardrobe far exceeds the taste of Nagah. On a more obvious note, before reading this fanfic, how many people had thought of the possibility of a Valley Girl Stoker double? [Nobuyuki picks up a shotglass full of Dr. Pepper] Here's to you and especially Slider_Sarah, who hopefully won't flame me silly for making her my favorite (and only, so far) recurring villain.
