Part 1
On a world of darkness ruled by the evil force known as the Kromaggs,
an
innocent young woman is about to be executed. "After failure
to obey
our command, I take it upon myself as head officer at camp # 23
to fully
carry out the execution of the prisoner # 46565, " The head
officer
began to grin revealing his grotesque teeth. " She posses
a threat to
the Kromagg dynasty and must be dealt with properly." The head officer
said to those present to watch the execution of the prisoner.
In the
center of the large room was small woman confined to a chair, her
head
was face down and her hair loomed over her face.
" You have refused to obey to us the for the last time, do you have
any
last words prisoner 46565?" The Head officer asked. The young
woman did
not answer, instead she was quietly crying to her self. The
head
officer then grinned with more satisfaction. He then raised
his hand to
single the executioners. Ten Kromagg executioners to kill
one small
woman, it was their way of demonstrating their power. The
Kromagg
guards raised their laser rifles. " Ready" He shouted. " Aim"
He
yelled.
" Oh God Quinn, where are you." She whispered. Tears were trickling
down her cheeks. Hope was gone; she would not be getting
out of this
one. She closed her eye's to prepare for the shock of the
laser
rifles. Suddenly there was a great wind in the room, she felt
her hair
being whipped around by it, and a large sliding vortex was opening
near
her. She opened her eyes and waited for her friends to walk
out, she
was completely filled with joy. The Kromaggs redirected their
rifles
towards the vortex. The head Kromagg had a look of satisfaction,
who
ever it was, they were sliding right into a firing squad.
Catapulting
from with in the vortex a young man came flipping out; he landed
on his
feet perfectly. He was a young man no more than twenty-five
years old.
The prisoner was just as surprised as the Kromaggs.
" How did you get in here?" The Head officer asked the mysterious
man.
The mysterious man quickly began observing the room, he was checking
out
the location of all the soldiers in the room. The mysterious
man then
looked over to the prisoner. He focused his eyes on her, she
looked up
into his, the prisoner was Wade Wells, the lost slider, now a Kromagg
prisoner. " Who are you?" Shouted the Head officer. The young
man gave
Wade a warm smile then he winked at her. Wade felt he heart
pound with
nervous energy, even if this man failed, at least he tried, which
is
more than she could say for some other people she knew.
" I have come for the woman, you will release her to me." The young
man
said to the twenty Kromagg officers. Laughter filled the group
of
soldiers. The young man then looked to the Kromagg in charge.
"You
will release her to me." He repeated. " Now" He added.
Wade did the
only thing she could do, watched on.
The Head Kromagg looked at the young man with a look of amusing
disbelief. " You're joking right?" He laughed. " And
if I don't great
warrior? What will happen then? Will you destroy us all?"
He
snickered. The young man said nothing; he waited for
the Kromaggs to
make the next move. The head officer locked eyes with the
young man.
The two became dead looked in a stare, a little fear in the head
officer
arose when he saw no fear in the young man's eyes. " Fire!
" Shouted
the Head officer. The firing squad fired their laser rifles.
They
young man wasted no time, in a split second he revealed his weapon,
a
light saber the weapon of a Jedi Knight.
The Kromaggs never saw a Jedi Knight before, they've never even heard
of
such people. With the force at his command and the help of
his weapon
the Jedi reflected the laser blasts. The reflected blasts
were turning
on the Kromagg firing squad. The focused Jedi almost looked
like an
elegant dancer. Wade watched on with amazement as the one
man held off
an entire Kromagg firing squad.
" Cease Fire!" The head officer screamed. He realized that
the more
they blasted, the more soldiers would get killed. The soldiers stopped
firing. The Jedi took this opportunity, he spun around lounged
his
light saber. The menacing weapon went chopping threw the remaining
soldiers, it was like a weed whacker in action. The light
saber made
its deadly rounds then returned to its master's hand.
When the smoke cleared all the soldiers were dead except the head
Kromagg in charge of this outpost. The Kromagg looked around
the room;
the slaughtered remains of his comrades bodies lay everywhere. Wade
was
in as much shock as the head officer was. The Jedi stood still
and
stared at the head officer, the Jedi's eyes saw the extreme fear
in the
Kromaggs.
" By the power invested in me I hear by release the prisoner # 46565,
all charges dropped. You may go." The head officer said cowardly.
Wade
was no longer bound to the chair. She immediately went the
side of her
new protector.
" Thank you." The Jedi knight said and bowed. Wade looked to
her new
friend in amazement. " Ready?" He asked her. The Jedi
knew the smile
he received meant yes. The Jedi reached down to his belt and
took his
sliding devise from it. He then opened a vortex, Wade grabbed
a hold of
his hand and together they jumped through. The Head officer
fired a
tracking devise in to the vortex behind them. Once the vortex
closed
the head officer let out a horrible scream.
The next world
The vortex opened and the two travelers exited from it. Wade
was
happier than she has ever been, thanks to this man she now had her
life
back. She threw her arms around her hero, she hugged tightly,
and a
smile came over the face of the Jedi.
" Who are you?" Wade asked the young Jedi.
" I'm a friend, quickly we must go, surely they will be tracking
us."
The Jedi said.
" Why would you rescue me?" She asked.
" I will explain everything, but later I promise." The young Jedi
told
her. It was not the answer Wade wanted, but it would do for
now. She
owed this man everything, and she new she could trust him.
The Jedi
began to look at his sliding device.
" How much time is left?" Wade asked. The Jedi looked over
to her
unsure of what she meant.
" Time?" He asked.
" Yeah, on the timer." Wade said.
" Timer? What are you talking about?" The Jedi had no idea
what she
was talking about.
" This." She grabbed the sliding device. " This is the timer, how
much
longer do we have to stay here?" The Jedi looked down to the
sliding
device. Then back up to Wade.
" We can go right now, if you want." The Jedi said. Wade looked
at the
sliding devise; it was way more advanced then the one she once used.
" Where did you get this? " She asked. The Jedi felt a strange
feeling
in the force; he began to look around, he then looked up to the
sky. A
large red sliding vortex was opening. Wade as well looked
up. It was a
Kromagg vortex. They already found them, she wasted no time in pressing
the button to open the vortex. The Jedi went for his light saber;
three
Kromagg ships came out of the vortex. " We have to go!" Wade
yelled.
" Go!" The Jedi yelled. " I'll hold them off, you can't help me."
" No way am I leaving you!" Wade yelled back. " You're coming with
me." Five more ships came screaming threw the red vortex.
Wade grabbed
the Jedi by the back of his shirt and pulled him into the vortex
with
her. The Kromagg ships went to pursue them, but they were
too late, the
vortex closed.
The next world…
The two were thrown from the sliding vortex, quickly the Jedi
got to
his feet, and he then helped Wade up. Wade got to her
feet; she was a
little dizzy.
" Whoa, that was close." She said.
" It's not over yet." The Jedi said. " We have to do this just
a few
more times, it's the only way to make sure they are not following
us."
" Wait! Before we go anywhere, just at least tell me who you are."
She
asked. The Jedi hesitated for a second.
" I'm a Jedi Knight." He said with honor. Wade got a half-confused
look.
" You mean like, use the force, like that, a real Jedi?" She asked
jokingly. The Jedi raised his right eyebrow then sighed.
He activated
the sliding device. " Just one more question, where did you
get the
sliding device opening the vortex." She asked. The Jedi
smiled.
"From my friend Max." He said as he pushed her in to the vortex.
