Logline: Allison remembers a slide that had her go blind, and changed her way of thinking on life, she soon falls in love with a man, and she reveals something about her past.

Guest Stars: Chad Todhunter as Jules Konig, Alan Alda as Dr. Pierce.

Synopsis: In a room at the Chandler, Allison is sitting in front of a laptop, the others arrive asking her if she was ok, and if she wanted to go swimming. Allison declines, saying now that her worst nightmare slide was over with killers, she just needed time alone. Remmy puts his hand on her shoulder, telling her to get some rest and relax. When they exit the room, Allison begins her story.

"As I sit here, about to tell my story. I feel things have changed for me, especially the way of life. When I was younger, in my teens, I never really had a bad life, my parents were rich, and nothing ever bad happened to me. When I began this journey of sliding, to parallel dimensions, I felt that it would be short, and simple, finding a way to defeat the kromaggs off our world, leading me to never say how I felt on problems we had, or my way of lifestyle. Shortly before we met up with Jules, we slid in to a war zone where it all began"

A flashback sequence begins:

The vortex opens and the 4 fly out of the portal in an alley. Remmy tells the group they slide in 10 minutes. Allison heads out near the entrance to the alley, the group can hear people yelling and firing weapons, she looks to the ground, seeing a mirror, smashed, then suddenly someone fires a gun, causing the sun and shot to shine into Allison's eyes, she falls back, then lands on the ground. Nick and Cory run and help her up. Allison screams, saying she can't see. Remmy heads where she was, and figures what happened, so he explained it to the others. Nick just says that its like a flash from a camera, and her eyes sight should come back.

On the next world, the 4 are heading to the Chandler, Cory has a hold of Allison's hand, while Remmy and Nick are ahead. As they enter the doors, Allison slams into the slide of the building, she gets upset, telling them to get her to the room immediately. After they have her in the room, Allison tells the guys to leave, since she needed to be alone for awhile, so they headed to the bar. They talk about what happened to the professor from Remmy's story about when they got stuck in a war game, and his sight returned. Cory feels that it might, but she should head to an eye doctor to see what can be done. With a week stay, they decided that Cory should stay with her, since she has taken a liking to him for her stress levels to be reduced, so Nick and Remmy headed off by themselves.

In the room, the following morning Cory had setup an appointment to meet with a Dr. Pierce for an eye exam. Allison hates the idea, but agrees to go, to find the chance of her getting sight back. When Allison goes in the bathroom for a shower, she slips on some water, Cory runs in to see her in her underwear, she yells at him to leave, but he refuses, knowing she needed the help and she begins to cry in his arms. The 2 arrive at the eye doctor, Allison enters an exam room, sitting in a chair with the machine in front of her face. Cory waited outside, due to Allison's request. Dr. Pierce asks Allison how it happened, and she told him exactly what did occur. Dr. Pierce finds it odd that there hasn't been any shooting recently, so Allison lies, saying it happened in Arizona.

The doctor runs a few tests, but Allison can't see anything. She asks the question if she would get her sight back, and Dr. Pierce states that it could take a few months, but her sight may return someday. He hands Allison a card, telling her that he knows of an eye surgeon, she should visit with, and he may have more use. Allison gets out of the chair, finds her way to the door, and heads out, running into another person, then a case of glasses. Cory stops her, telling her to wait. Cory talks to the doctor, and he tells Cory that it will take a long time, and doesn't understand why she has no sight, but has given a card to Allison about an eye surgeon.

Cory thanks the doctor and pays the fee of $20 for the exam. He turns around to see Allison gone, he heads outside, and she is about to cross the street, when a car comes flying down the hill, nearly hitting her, but an older man, nearby, grabs her from the road, and back onto the sidewalk. Cory runs to her, asking what her problem was. Allison finds the doctor a crackpot and knows that shes blind for good.

That night, the 2 ate dinner on a pier, since Cory thought that she might calm down in the public, and get fresh air from the ocean as they sit above it on a patio at a restuarant. Allison drops her fork, and knocks over her glass of tea. She covers her face, crying, so Cory feels its time to leave. He pays the check and heads to the beach, having her hold onto his hand walking near the shoreline. Cory states that its not her fault, and she shouldn't worry, since 3 guys would be there to help her. Finally Allison speaks calmly, thanking Cory for everything hes done, she stops him as she touches his face, then they kiss. Allison apologizes, but Cory doesn't mind it, saying he somewhat feels attracted to her. They kiss again, then start making out, as they fall in sand.

In the following morning, Nick and Remmy had returned to the room, to find no one around, Nick picks up a note, stating that Cory and Allison went to the pool, so they think that Allison has her sight back. When they got down there, they found out she hadn't gotten her sense back. Cory tells them what happened the night previous, and then Allison was able to get out of the pool on her own. Remmy came over and grabbed her arm, pulling her over towards them. Allison was glad to hear the others returned and asked how the first annual Worlds Fair was, Nick found it interesting and thought it looked old. Allison began into a conversation stating that even though she lost her eyes, she would always have someone to help her, and wouldn't have to worry about it.

Remmy gets into an attitude saying shes wrong, knowing that at any moment they could be gone, and who would take care of her then. Allison finds it rediculous, then Cory and Nick begin to agree. Remmy then adds that shes acting just like his friend, the professor, except he didn't want help, and finally knew he was big headed to act in his own way. Allison yells at Cory for lying to her, and regrets anything that happened the previous night, so she takes off and runs near stairs, only to slip on more water and falls. She calls for help, but the guys decide to leave her there to be alone. Cory turns around, but Remmy tells him that she needs to try to be successful on her own.

Back in the present, Allison finishes her story, "after all the things that happened to me, I finally got enough strength to get up and find my way to the hotel room on my own. I told the guys that I was foolish, thinking they would be there for any of my needs, knowing that if I was to be blind forever, I would have to learn to survive without help. The following night, we slid out, fortunately my eye sight returned when the portal opened and we slid out. Now that I had the experience of being blind, I now know that traveling to parallel worlds with others is no difference than being alone. But we are a team, and I know that when we do return home, I may have to go into my own mind on how to create a virus, being blind or having sight.

With concluding my view of blindness, I feel that now that I can rely on my friends for support, I hope soon, I can reveal that I am an FBI Agent tracking Rembrandt Brown's every move, so I can return and possibly detain him, along with his companions that entered this void nearly 5 years ago. To possibly learn of the purpose of sliding"

Allison shuts her laptop off, then the guys return, with Jules being put on the bed, after he was hit by another guy that was jealous of him flirting with the guy's girl. Remmy says that medics just wanted him to get rest, so in the morning he wouldn't have much of a headache. Cory sits down next to Allison, they share a kiss, then Cory asks if things are strong between them, and she says yes.
